Visiting professors and academic guests

Every year, DiPSA welcomes numerous international scholars, including:

  • visiting professors who teach courses or conduct seminars within our degree programmes;
  • guest lecturers and researchers engaged in joint research projects, academic workshops, and scientific dissemination;
  • PhD co-supervisors and international collaborators involved in interdepartmental research activities.

These exchanges are a cornerstone of DiPSA’s internationalisation strategy and a key driver of interdisciplinary learning. They enrich the academic environment by promoting the exchange of ideas, enhancing intercultural dialogue, and strengthening DiPSA’s participation in global academic networks.

UniBg support for international scholars

The University of Bergamo actively promotes the presence of visiting professors and researchers, both incoming and outgoing, to foster international collaboration and research excellence. This initiative is designed to attract highly qualified academics with significant research and professional experience.

A specific call for proposals supports the mobility of professors, researchers, and research fellows. The call for applications is managed via the University’s internal portal.

Interested candidates must be endorsed by a UniBg faculty member, and are encouraged to reach out directly to potential supervisors at the University of Bergamo.
