The department of Management (DiPSA) at the University of Bergamo actively supports executive and post-graduate education through a wide network of partnerships and a strong tradition of applied learning. In collaboration with the SDM – School of Management, DiPSA offers a range of advanced training programmes tailored to the needs of executives, professionals, and public and private organisations. 

These programmes combine rigorous academic content with practical relevance, helping participants develop strategic thinking, leadership capabilities and the tools to innovate in complex environments. 

Programmes are designed for individuals at different career stages and offer flexibility, customisation, and direct contact with expert faculty and business practitioners.

From the 2025/2026 academic year, SDM is part of EDUNEXT, the national university network supported by Italy’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). EDUNEXT promotes high-quality lifelong learning through: 

  • modular, stackable learning units; 

  • hybrid and digital formats; 

  • certification via micro-credentials and open badges. 
     

The Master in Digital Business Development, coordinated by Prof.ssa Daniela Andreini, is the first DiPSA programme to adopt the EDUNEXT format, combining academic depth with innovative learning design.

Executive programmes: structure and classification

SDM offers three types of executive education programmes, aligned with european and national qualification frameworks: 

First-level master's programmes 

  • Classification: Bologna Process Second Cycle / EQF Level 7; 
  • access: by bachelor’s degree or a comparable foreign qualification; 
  • workload: minimum 60 ects; 
  • duration: minimum 1 year; 
  • language: italian. 

Second-level master's programmes 

  • Classification: Bologna Process Third Cycle / EQF Level 8; 
  • access: by laurea magistrale or a comparable foreign qualification; 
  • workload: minimum 60 ects; 
  • duration: minimum 1 year; 
  • language: italian. 

Advanced training courses 

  • Flexible programmes focused on skill development, managerial innovation and sectoral expertise; 
  • suitable for professionals and organisations seeking shorter, impactful learning paths.
