Collaborating with business, institutions and society

The department of Management (DiPSA) at the university of Bergamo cultivates strong and enduring partnerships with companies, institutions and professional bodies. These collaborations are a strategic pillar of our mission, enhancing both the relevance of academic research and the employability of our graduates.

Our partnerships span across multiple domains, applied research, executive training, consultancy, project work, internships and joint initiatives, and are tailored to meet the evolving needs of business and society.

Why partner with DiPSA?

Partnering with DiPSA means gaining access to a dynamic academic ecosystem where ideas meet execution. Through structured agreements and ongoing dialogue, our partners benefit from:

  • collaboration in field projects and student consulting assignments
  • co-design of research projects and case studies
  • access to internship and recruitment channels
  • participation in seminars, lectures and advisory boards
  • joint development of executive and post-graduate education programmes;
  • opportunities to engage in public engagement and territorial development initiatives.

These partnerships not only contribute to regional innovation and sustainable growth, but also provide students and researchers with valuable exposure to real-world challenges.

Field projects and executive education

Our partnerships take concrete form in programmes such as:

  • Field projects (undergraduate and master’s level): students work in multidisciplinary teams on real business challenges proposed by companies, under the supervision of academic tutors.

  • Executive education: companies contribute to DiPSA’s executive programmes as sponsors, case providers, or participants. One example is the master in Digital Business Development, where firms collaborate through sponsorships, real-case contributions, and co-designed training.
