Explore Bergamo: tradition meets innovation

Bergamo is a city suspended between local traditions and global dynamics. Regularly acknowledged by international media and thousands of visitors, it is considered one of the most fascinating and liveable cities in Lombardy.

Divided between the Upper City (Città Alta), one of the few medieval town centres in Italy still enclosed by its original Venetian walls, and the Lower City (Città Bassa), the modern heart of business and culture, Bergamo offers a unique blend of history, innovation and vibrant daily life.

It is also a city on a human scale, perfect for students looking to explore, experience and feel at home.
